The biggest goal for the G3-5 Writing Camps is to foster the love of writing for students. To attain this goal, high interest topics are used and interactive activities are adopted to create a fun-filled learning environment. While learning basic academic writing skills is a very important goal, students are encouraged to exercise their imaginations and think out of the box. Through practices and production of their writing projects, students build confidence and experience high level sense of achievement, which are the keys for the love of writing. All Writing Camps are half-day morning camps. Parents are offered numerous options to add an afternoon camp to create a full-day program. The curriculum of afternoon Technology Camps is designed to coordinate with the Writing Camps for G3 to G5 level. Participants of both camps will bring home writing projects presented in a sophisticated digital format, which they surely will take pride. Extended care is available as needed to cover the pre-camp, post-camp, and lunch hours.
